Racquet FAQ

Customer Inquiries

Q: How can I update my account information or mailing address?
A: Please email customerservice@racquetmag.com to update any account information, including the shipping address associated with your subscription.

Q: I just subscribed for a subscription. Now what?
A: Congratulations on your purchase! Now sit back, relax and enjoy your 4 quarterly issues. Your 1st magazine will arrive 7-10 business days after your purchase. You will receive all issues upon release until your total 4 issue subscription has been fulfilled.

Q: Do you ship the magazine and products internationally?
A: Yes we ship worldwide, although international shipping rates vary depending on location. International customers are responsible for customs/duties fees when applicable. These charges are determined by your local customs authority or postal service and payment of these fees are obligatory if you wish to obtain your shipment. For further information, please consult your local postal office or email customerservice@racquetmag.com.

Q: How does your merchandise fit?
A: All apparel fits true to size and is listed in Men’s/Unisex sizing. We recommend caring for your products in cold water to best maintain quality.

Q: Do you accept returns?
A: All sales are final. We accept returns or exchanges for products that are damaged in transit or if the incorrect item was shipped. To be eligible for an exchange, you must email us within 30 days of the order date. Upon receipt of your email we will respond promptly and make sure your replacement is sent out. If a replacement item is not available we will refund the full purchase price.

Q: Is my quarterly subscription renewed automatically?
A: No, as of 9/27/21 subscriptions are not automatically renewed. To renew a subscription which has ended after this date, please place an order for a new subscription here!

Q: How long does it take for my product to arrive?
A: All orders require 3-4 business days for processing with an additional 7-10 business days for standard domestic shipping. International shipping times vary depending on location, however please allow at least 15 business days for your order to arrive.

Stockist Inquiries

Q: I am a retailer and I want to stock Racquet magazine! How can I place a stockist order?
A: We are always thrilled to acquire new stockists for our readers! Kindly note stock issues are only sold in increments of 10. To place an order add the Stock Issue to your cart, proceed to checkout, and create an account or log into existing account for your respective business. Note whether you are a new or existing customer in the “Order Notes” field and proceed to payment (please do not use Paypal or any external payment portals as we do not have the ability to properly edit and track your order if you do not stay on the site throughout the checkout process). Please be sure to email customerservice@racquetmag.com with any questions and to be added to our Stockists page!

Partnerships & Submissions

Q: I want to collaborate with RACQUET’s marketing department?
A: Direct all submission inquiries to caitlin@racquetmag.com

Q: I want to submit my work to RACQUET, how do I do that?
A: Racquet gladly accepts pitches for features and essays in the magazine, but please bear in mind that as a quarterly we have very little space for stories, so send only your best ideas. More to the point, as a slow-cooked print magazine we have very long lead times, so pitches pegged to fast-moving news narratives—the No. 1 in the world player striking a lineswoman in the throat with a ball, for example—are unlikely to be accepted. (In fact, we’re generally very unlikely to accept pitches on “The Big Three”—they’re great, but what else can be said about them that hasn’t already been said?)

It is extremely rare for us to publish completed nonfiction manuscripts, however we are very happy to read extant short fiction.

Please keep your pitch brief, and don’t forget to include some biographical information about yourself and, if you have them, samples of published work. If we’re interested, we’ll ask for more information.

Be forewarned: Poetry is the longest of long shots (unless your name is Guillermo Vilas).
Please submit your ideas to submissions@racquetmag.com. We look forward to hearing from you!
