[vc_empty_space height="35px"]In our current issue the London-based model, photographer, and writer, Laura Bailey, shared the items and objects that comprise her ever busier tennis life. The key, says Bailey, is that “athletic allure breeds positive vibes” on court. To that end, no aspect of her tennis life is left unexamined. Here, the artist and illustrator Anneka Lange interprets some of the objects in Laura’s tennis kit right now. Bailey had been a once-a-week player for a decade, but finally upped her tennis commitments, on a good week, to five days. “Some in my work life think I have so many ‘meetings’,” she says. Here, we present her “stuff”.[vc_empty_space height="45px"][vc_row full_width="stretch_row_content"]

Bailey recently swapped out her decade-old racquet for a “rather more chic” Head Speed Lite, which she will likely keep for the next 10 years.[vc_empty_space height="35px"][vc_row full_width="stretch_row_content"]

Carhartt socks, shared with her son, in Vibrant orange (above)  or deep “Provence” purple.[vc_empty_space height="35px"][vc_row full_width="stretch_row_content"]

The classic Lacoste polo—shown here in Bold Scarlet—always a useful addition.  [vc_empty_space height="35px"][vc_row full_width="stretch_row_content"]

Les Boys Les Girls graphic print cropped T-shirt.[vc_empty_space height="35px"][vc_row full_width="stretch_row_content"]

adidas x Parley trainers, created in collaboration with Parley for the Oceans, made with high-performance recycled materials.[vc_empty_space height="35px"][vc_row full_width="stretch_row_content"]

Big black cat-eye Chanel sunglasses always. Always. Even on court, and sometimes in the rain.[vc_empty_space height="35px"][vc_row full_width="stretch_row_content"]

Andy Murray-adjacent Castore base layers.[vc_empty_space height="35px"][vc_row full_width="stretch_row_content"]

In the current rotation: a vintage Nike sweatshirt.[vc_empty_space height="35px"][vc_row full_width="stretch_row_content"]

Somewhat beaten-up bright red Specialized mountain bike to haul all this kit to Laura’s various “meetings”.[vc_empty_space height="35px"]Laura Bailey is a London-based model, photographer, and writer.
